The Digital Pre-University Faculty of the Russian University of People’s Friendship

The Russian University of People’s Friendship is implementing the project of Digital Pre-University Faculty which allows taking courses in Russian language and general disciplines in distance (online) mode.

The digital programme is targeted to foreign citizens, primarily high school students and students of undergraduate programs of foreign universities willing to continue their studies in Russia.

Traditionally, before starting the main educational program, international students in Russia take a special training course in which they study the Russian language and the basic subjects necessary for the chosen profession. Now one can do that course even before arriving in Moscow.

The basic educational course of the Digital Pre-University Faculty consists of 9 modules, including 4 core compulsory modules on the Russian language, 3 elective modules of General education disciplines, 1 module on culture studies and 1 module of academic style of speech. One can choose from an intensive program for a period of 6 months, a standard program – 9 months, a long-term program for up to 2 years of study.

Students who have successfully completed the training, have the right to a 10% discount for the tuition fees of undergraduate and graduate programs.
